Spongebob and Patrick decide to earn lots of money to afford fancy living like the people in the magazines. They ask Squidward how to do it.

Squid: They are Entrepreneurs!

Spongebob: Thats it Patrick we have got to be Entrepreneurs!

Patrick: Is that gonna Hurt?

Why do I watch Spongebob Squarepants??

Ok just a quick intro.

Spongebob Squarepants is an animated series (Some heartless creatures call him a Cartoon. But I beg 2 differ!) on a so called kids channel Nickelodeon. Spongebob or Spongie is a yellow coloured sponge who wears a square pant. Lives under the sea in a town called the Bikini Bottom. (There is another town near this 1 called the Bikini Top!). He lives in a pineapple shaped home. Has a pet snail named Gary (which answers every call with a “Meow!”). He has a dumb starfish friend cum neighbour Patrick Star and another indifferent neighbour Squidward Tentacles, who is also his work buddy at the Krusty Krabbes. Thats a fast food joint owned by miserly crab Mr Krabbes. Patrick is the dumbest of the lot( Competitor for Homer Simpson!). Squidward is always irritated by his 2 dumb neighbours. There is an squirrel from Texas called Sandy. And thats basically it. The stories revolve around the dumbness of the duo Spongie and Patrick.

Some people (read: Parents) frown upon me for watching this. They have following complaints-

1) You are watching a cartoon about a Sponge!
2) Spongebob is yellow and Patrick is pink. These colours are very irritating.

3) Their shapes are too dumb.

4) Their voices are really annoying.

5) This stuff is so Childish.

6) (My parents being doctors) Sponge does not eat food. They live by something called as Filter feeding.

In spite of all these complaints, I still watch it, bcoz its pure entertainment.

The underwater world created by Stephan Hillenberg is really amazing! And believe me its not for kids (eg. Name of his town). The characters are really witty. The parodies are really nice. So I really recommend u all to c it atleast once. Dont let his colour or his voice come between you and this real treat!
